Las Palmas are attempting to sign free agent Roberto Trashorras, who left Rayo Vallecano at the end of last month, say reports in Spain.
The 36-year-old ended a seven-year stint at Rayo after losing his starting place, but could now be reunited with the Vallecas-based club’s former Coach Paco Jemez.
Los Amarillos have been linked with the central midfielder, who captained Rayo, and are now reported by Cadena Cope to follow through with the move due to Jonathan Viera’s imminent departure.
The midfielder spent four years under Jemez at the Madrid-based club and with Viera set for a big-money move to the Chinese Super League club, he looks set to return to the top flight.
