Cristiano Ronaldo is confident Real Madrid can beat a ‘fantastic’ Paris Saint-Germain but believes his side must ‘remain focused’.
The Portuguese star has hit form in recent weeks – scoring seven goals in his last four La Liga outings and eleven in his last ten in all competitions.
“We will be playing against a fantastic team with excellent players,” Ronaldo told Goal.com.
“We are Real Madrid and we have shown we have a strong squad with lots of experience and we must call upon that.
“We have to remain focused throughout both games and play well if we are to advance into the next round – we respect PSG but we remain united.
“I always aim to play at my best possible level and whilst sometimes things do not go as well as you like, but from my experience I know I must keep working hard to achieve goals.”
