Saint-Etienne forward Oussama Tannane has lamented his stay at Las Palmas and didn’t know the club was based on an island when he signed.
The 23-year-old joined the Gran Canarian club on a season-long loan from the Ligue 1 club this summer, but his stay was cut short last month after a mutual agreement.
“I should never have joined Las Palmas, I did not know the club played on an island,” Tannane told Le10 Sport.
“I never could settle in and I never felt at home and quickly I realised I would find it difficult to fit in, due to the language barrier and not having my family and friends.”
Tannane made 11 appearances for Los Amarillos but failed to find the net throughout his stay.
