Preview: Eibar-Sevilla

Sandro Ramirez, Roque Mesa and Miguel Layun are all set to make their Sevilla debuts on Saturday, when the Andalusians travel to La Liga rivals Eibar.

Eibar boss Jose Luis Mendilibar on the transfer market and “not caring” about his XI: “It went well, three players arrived, two of them have already started giving us things and we hope the third will too.

“As for departures, those who wanted to leave have left, and we also deemed it convenient. Everything went well for them because they weren’t forced out and went where they wanted to go.

“More surprises in the XI? The surprise was at San Mames [against Athletic Bilbao last week].

“If we repeat it on Saturday, it wouldn’t be [a surprise] anymore. Right now, I don’t care who plays because I know that whoever plays will do well.”

Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella on Sergio Rico’s Leganes blunder and his new signings: ”When I arrived at the club, I made a decision regarding the goalkeeper.

“I wanted to give serenity to this position, and Sergio is a great goalkeeper. He has my faith.

“He can make a mistake, like everyone else. Hopefully he gets his confidence back. The club have backed him in an important way.

“Sandro, Layun and Mesa? All three are fine, although Layun is in the best shape physically because he’s played the most recently.

“I don’t know if they’re ready to play 90 minutes, but all three will travel.”
