Oblak to replace Arsenal’s Cech?

Arsenal are lining up a summer move for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak to replace first-choice Petr Cech, claim reports.

The Slovenian goalkeeper has recently chalked up 100 La Liga appearances – the first Slovenian to do so – for Atleti, keeping an incredible 59 clean sheets.

A report in the London Evening Standard claims the former Benfica goalkeeper is a priority signing for the Gunners, who have loosened their purse-strings this season.

However, the report acknowledges Arsenal’s presence in the Champions League could prove fundamental in any deal for the shot-stopper.
