Levante complete Pazzini deal

Levante have continued to strengthen their squad in a bid to avoid relegation with the signing of Hellas Verona striker Giampaolo Pazzini.

The 33-year-old forward – who has played for both Inter and Milan – became Levante’s third deadline day signing after deals for Ruben Rochina and Armando Sadiku.

The experienced striker has netted 104 top flight goals in Italy across his career, which has included spells with Fiorentina and Sampdoria alongside the Milanese duo.

Four of those goals came this season, but he has fallen down the pecking order with only seven starts – after his 23 goals last campaign fired Verona to promotion.

‘Il Pazzo’ will join the Valencia-based club on loan for the remainder of the season.
