Torino’s Boye joins Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo have completed the loan signing of Torino forward Lucas Boye for the remainder of the campaign, with an option to buy included.

The Argentine, who turns 22 this month, has moved to the Galician club on loan while their option to purchase will be at their discretion at the end of the season.

The former Newell’s Old Boys wide-man joined the Serie A outfit on a free transfer 18 months ago but has not enjoyed regular playing time, making just 14 appearances – mainly from the bench – this season.

Boye has netted three goals in 46 appearances in Italy with Torino and his arrival at Celta follows on from the departure of John Guidetti.
