Malaga midfielder Javi Ontiveros has completed his move to second tier club Real Valladolid on a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign.
The 20-year-old rose to prominence for the Andalucian club last season, making 18 top-flight appearances, but has only started one La Liga match so far this campaign.
The Marbella-born midfielder, who has represented Spain at Under-19 level, was allowed to leave Estadio Rosaleda for the Segunda outfit, as first reported by Cadena Cope journalist Javier Bautista.
Malaga currently sit at the foot of La Liga while Valladolid lie tenth in the second tier, two points from the promotion playoff places.
