Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has filed a lawsuit against his former club Barcelona, demanding €30m, say reports in Spain.
A detailed report in El Mundo – a renowned national newspaper – states the Brazilian believes he is owed €26m from the Blaugrana alongside 10% of the fee in interest.
The 25-year-old’s claims are in relation to a new contract he had signed with the Catalan giants before departing for the Ligue 1 leaders last year.
The €26m stems from a renewal bonus which was included in the contract, which the former Santos player alleges he has not yet received.
Separately, the Blaugrana are claiming they are owed money by their former player from the first part of the renewal bonus included in that contract, alongside €8.5m in damages and interest.
