Napoli are interested in lodging a late bid for highly-rated Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal, according to reports in Spain.
The 20-year-old has risen to prominence since making his debut for La Real two seasons ago and had since established his place in Spain’s Under-21 squad.
Cadena Cope reports of the Serie A leaders interest in the player, although the Basque club will not sell below his release clause, which stands at €50m.
La Real – who languish in 15th spot in La Liga – suffered a significant blow earlier this week as defender Inigo Martinez left for Basque rivals Athletic Club Bilbao in a €32m deal.
