Getafe rescue draw at Sevilla

Angel Rodriguez’s equaliser deep into injury time rescued a point for Getafe away to Sevilla in a tightly-contested encounter.

Luis Muriel’s goal from Nolito’s assist in the 70th minute looked to have put Vincenzo Montella’s side on course for their fourth straight victory.

However, Los Azulones rescued a point at the death through Angel, despite the home side protesting the goal should not have counted for an alleged foul on goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

The result means Sevilla remain sixth – four points off the top five – while Getafe move up to ninth in the standings.
