Levante have completed the loan signing of Celta Vigo goalkeeper Ivan Villar until the end of the season, it has been confirmed.
The 20-year-old renewed his contract with the Galician club until 2023 before agreeing to join the Valencia-based club for the remainder of the campaign.
“I hope to return to Celta after a high level of performance,” Villar is quoted as saying by El Desmarque.
“The loan deal is an important step for me to continue growing and improving and to return to be a goalkeeper of Celta for many years.”
The goalkeeper has only made one league start for Celta since progressing through their youth ranks.
