Malaga have confirmed the sale of French central defender Paul Baysse to Ligue 1 club Bordeaux in a deal reported to be worth up to €1.5m.
RMC Sport reported on Wednesday the two clubs have struck an agreement for a permanent deal in January worth an initial €1m with a further €500k in add-ons included in the move.
The 29-year-old only joined the Andalucian club in the summer from Nice, and he had featured in 16 matches for the struggling club this season.
Baysse is said to have signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Les Girondins after passing a medical on Wednesday.
Malaga currently lie second-from-bottom in La Liga.
