Sevilla asking for Batshuayi

Sevilla are growing increasingly confident of securing a loan deal for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi this month as they aim to bolster their squad.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea in 2016 but has failed to cement his place in the team, firstly as a deputy to Diego Costa before playing second fiddle to Alvaro Morata this season.

Earlier this week, a report in El Desmarque outlined how Los Rojiblancos are keen to add to their striking firepower and provide further competition for Wissam Ben Yedder and Luis Muriel.

Now ESPN have led reports in England that the English champions are open to a move this month as they seek to find a replacement in their squad.

The 24-year-old has started only three Premier League matches in two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge, while the Blues reportedly are keen on a deal for West Ham United’s Andy Carroll, according to reports in England.
