‘Everton won’t sell Sandro…’

Everton are not open to a January exit for forward Sandro Ramirez, according to Celta Vigo sporting director Felipe Minambres.

Sandro scored 16 times in 31 appearances for Malaga last season after leaving Barcelona with growing reports now indicating he wants a return to La Liga.

“At this moment in time, Everton are not conveying a message that they are open to the player leaving,”  Minambres is quoted as saying by Diario AS.

The 22-year-old has only scored one goal for The Toffees since his summer move from Malaga but has yet to find the net in the Premier League, where he has made only three starts.

Radio Marca Sevilla stated last week Los Rojiblancos have ‘tabled a bid’ for the forward, although a loan arrangement may be more likely than a permanent deal.

Valencia have also reportedly held a long-running interest in the forward.
