Daniel Wass now wants to renew his contract at Celta Vigo after previous reports linking him with a move to Sevilla, according to the Spanish press.
The Danish midfielder’s contract at the Galician club expires in June 2019 but a report in Cadena Ser now states his representatives are in negotiations for such a deal.
The 28-year-old has made 115 appearances at Estadio Balaidos after a 2015 moves from French club Evian, while he has previously stated he wants to retire at Brondby.
The report continues his proposed move to Los Rojiblancos was ended with Eduardo Berizzo – his former Coach at Celta – being dismissed just before Christmas at the Andalucian giants.
