Madrid eye Fulham’s Sessegnon

Real Madrid are interested in signing Fulham’s highly-rated teenage defender Ryan Sessegnon, according to reports.

The 17-year-old has already amassed 56 first-team appearances for the West London club and has represented England up to Under-19 level.

Diario AS cites a report in The Guardian which states the left-back is on Madrid’s radar, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur also monitoring his situation.

Madrid are said to have sent scouts to Craven Cottage ‘a number of times’ this season to follow Sessegnon, who finished as joint-top scorer at the European Under-19 Championship in June with three goals.

Second-tier Fulham are said to be open to the idea of cashing-in on the defender, with bids in the region of €30m expected in 2018.
