Guidetti set for Celta exit

Celta Vigo striker John Guidetti looks set to leave the club on a loan deal in January with three La Liga rivals reportedly interested in a move.

The Swedish striker has not started a La Liga match this season following the arrival of striker Maxi Gomez in summer, with the Uruguayan netting seven times in 16 starts.

Gomez was then heavily linked with a €20m move to the Chinese Super League but this transfer has now reportedly broken down and will not go through.

Guidetti, 25, has only played a total of 105 minutes of action for Celta with Faro De Vigo now reporting he is keen for a move to secure first-team football elsewhere.

The report continues that Malaga, Las Palmas and Alaves all want to sign the Swedish international, who had previously been linked to Real Betis.

Guidetti’s deal at Estadio Balaidos runs until 2020 and he possesses a €25m release clause.
