Betis ask for Lucas Moura

Real Betis have lodged an enquiry for Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura with a view to a January move, according to reports.

The Brazilian forward is out-of-favour at the Parisian club while Betis are keen to sign a wide attacker to replace Joel Campbell, on loan from Arsenal, who has a long-term injury.

Estadio Deportivo cite a report in Le Parisien which suggests Los Verdiblancos have lodged a loan offer with a purchase option for the 25-year-old, who PSG signed from Sao Paolo for €40m in 2013.

Due to a series of star arrivals – including Neymar and Kylian Mbappe – first team opportunities for Moura in Paris have been extremely limited this campaign and he is yet to start a Ligue 1 match.

Ruben Castro is returning to the Seville-based club in January after a loan spell in China and he will replace Antonio Sanabria, who has a long-term knee injury, in the squad.
