Fernando Torres is hopeful Antoine Griezmann will decide to remain with Atletico Madrid despite speculation linking him with a move away.
Los Rojiblancos have reported Barcelona to FIFA over an alleged illegal approach to the French forward while Manchester United have also been linked with a move.
“Atletico can sign and maintain the world’s best players, as we have shown,” Torres told Radio Marca.
“Griezmann is still here at the club and we all want him to stay of course, but you would have to ask him on his future and what he wants to do next.
“For me, I have six years left on my contract but want to extend this further. I have a strong relationship with my Coach (Diego Simeone) and I want to maintain this bond.”
