Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has won the Club World Cup’s Golden Ball award for best player.
Modric was influential in both of Madrid’s wins at the tournament, despite not scoring in either game, although he did hit the post in Saturday’s Final against Gremio.
Cristiano Ronaldo won the Silver Ball, although he did win the man-of-the-match award in the Final, while Jonathan Urretaviscaya took home the Bronze Ball after Pachuca finished in third place.
