Casillas to leave Porto – report

Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has decided to leave FC Porto in January due to his lack of first-team playing time, according to reports.

The Spanish goalkeeper has been excluded from first-team duties at Estadio do Dragao since October due to a reported falling out with Coach Sergio Conceicao.

Portuguese shot-stopper Jose Sa is now first choice goalkeeper at the Portuguese league leaders and Marca now cite a report in A Bola that the situation has forced Casillas into a desire to leave.

The out-of-favour Spaniard has been linked with a move to Newcastle United, who are currently managed by Rafael Benitez.
