Preview: Valencia-Celta

Valencia will be keen to stop the rot early when they face Celta Vigo, on a high from drawing with Barcelona last weekend.

Valencia boss Marcelino on his side’s defeat to Getafe last time out: "In a match, there are three possible outcomes.

“We lost at Getafe and we may not have deserved it, but we didn’t do enough to win. Just like after a win, we must analyse our game to identify the mistakes we made and improve as best we can.

“That defeat is in the past and we always think of our next match as a Final. What happened in our previous game must never influence our next one.”

Celta boss Juan Carlos Unzue on the threat posed by Los Che: “Valencia will demand the same or more than Barcelona did.

“Valencia are a very organised team, who work very well. They have the stamp of Marcelino, and we already know that his teams are always very difficult to break down.

“But I also have a lot of confidence in our strength, both with and without the ball, and I have no doubt that we’re going to compete with them.”
