Steven N’Zonzi is training alone at Sevilla and has a fractured relationship with Coach Eduardo Berizzo, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The French midfielder reportedly stormed out of the stadium after being substituted off at half time during last week’s Champions League draw with Liverpool.
The Andalucians were trailing 3-0 at half time but completed a rousing second half comeback to draw the match 3-3 but the former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder had already left the ground, report Diario AS.
The 28-year-old has since been banished from training with the first-team squad and he played no part in the weekend victory at Villarreal.
N’Zonzi was reportedly frustrated not to leave the club this summer as nobody matched his €40m release clause, with a potential exit next year.
