Emery: Pastore exit talk normal

Talk of Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore leaving the club is ‘normal’, according to Coach Unai Emery, amid links to Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

The Argentinean has been strongly linked with a move away from the Parisian club this January with Italian giants Inter among the other clubs said to be interested in the €20m-rated player.

“Talk about players like Pastore leaving is normal,” Emery told reporters.

“Whether they play or not, they’re great players and, in today’s world, there’s so much information bandied about.

“However, the most important thing for me is preparing for our games on Wednesday and Saturday.”

The 28-year-old moved to Paris from Palermo in a landmark €43m deal in 2011 but has featured in fewer than half of the side’s Ligue 1 matches in each of the past two seasons.

PSG are keen for a sale to meet their UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations and are keen on such an arrangement to be struck as soon as possible.

Pastore has netted 48 times in his six-year stint at the club.
