Preview: Getafe-Alaves

Getafe will be out for revenge when they face Alaves on Saturday after recently losing to the Basques in the Copa del Rey.

Getafe boss Jose Bordalas on facing the team that sacked him: “I’m very happy at Getafe, I don’t have any nostalgic feelings.

“I have great friends [at Alaves] and I’m grateful for that, but right now I’m happy at Getafe and I don’t feel any kind of nostalgia.

“We know that Alaves won’t give us anything, they showed it in the Copa and against Espanyol.

“They’re a team that will come here to compete at a very high level.”

Alaves boss Gianni De Biasi on whether his side have improved: “We’re ready to do well.

“I’m happy because we’ve grown as a team in terms of wanting to stay up and playing as a unit.

“It’ll be a very intense encounter, so we need to work hard and give maximum attention.”
