Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is facing a month out after picking up yet another injury.
Bale was due to make his comeback for Madrid in the Derbi against Atletico next weekend, the Welshman having recovered from a calf injury.
However, a statement on Los Blancos’ official website reads: “Our player Gareth Bale, who felt some discomfort in his left leg at the end of Thursday's training session, today underwent various tests carried out by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical team.
“He has been diagnosed with a strain to the middle third of the adductor longus muscle in his left leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
AS reports Bale has missed 73 games since joining Madrid for a then-world record €100m in 2013, in most part due to injuries.
