Preview: Sevilla-Leganes

An unlikely top-eight clash in La Liga sees a leaky Sevilla side host high-fliers Leganes late on Saturday.

Sevilla boss Eduardo Berizzo on what to expect from the visitors: “They’re a very tidy team, who know how to play.

“They sit back and counter very well, with very quick and dangerous players. They’re a solid unit that, away from home, put in great performances.

“We must respond by attacking with patience and perseverance, not just taking the ball and launching it forward.

“Kick-off time moved to the evening? It’s the right decision, one that takes the fans into consideration.

“It’s been moved to a time when spectators can enjoy what they see. They like games that are end-to-end, and there’s more chance of it happening at this time.”

Leganes boss Asier Garitano on talk of European qualification: “The increasing media attention won’t affect us. If we don’t have a great game here, we will in our next match.

“If any of my players talk about Europe, I’d tell them that they’re crazy, but they’re free to say whatever they like.

“Sevilla are a Champions League team and very good at home. I don’t believe they should be questioned whatsoever.

“They’re competing with the top sides. I expect a different encounter to last season’s.
