Real Sociedad boss Eusebio Sacristan admits it is ‘inevitable’ teams will want to sign Alvaro Odriozola after his recent performances.
The 21-year-old made his debut for the Spanish national side earlier this month and is thought to have attracted the attention of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
"Odriozola is enjoying very fast progress,” Eusebio is quoted as saying by Marca.
“With that in mind, it is inevitable that there are teams who will look at him and be interested.
“This is a positive thing and not me nor anyone at the club is worried about it, if you are performing well then it is a compliment that others are impressed.
“The important thing for him is to remain focused and to consolidate his progress here at the club.
“Espanyol have a very intense style, they are solid and structured and play with good speed in attack, which will make for an exciting game but we are pleased to be back at the Anoeta.”
