Real Betis midfielder Javi Garcia is set for two weeks on the sidelines after picking up a quadriceps injury, the club have confirmed.
The deep-lying midfielder is a doubt for Los Verdiblancos next league game against Valencia at Estadio Benito Villamarin on October 15.
Betis have confirmed the former Benfica and Manchester City midfielder, who joined the Seville-based club from Zenit Saint Petersburg last month, will face a fitness test for the clash with Los Che.
Garcia has featured in all seven fixtures for Quique Setien’s side this season, starting six of those, but came off injured during Sunday’s clash with Real Sociedad.
