Isco: Madrid will get better

Isco has warned Real Madrid’s rivals that they “will certainly improve” after their 2-0 win against Espanyol on Sunday.

Isco was on hand to score both of Madrid’s goals at the Santiago Bernabeu, which also marked their first home win of the season in La Liga.

“Toe-poke for my first goal? I scored one like it with the Under 21s. It’s one more for me,” the midfielder said after the game.

“That’s football and I’m happy for my goals and the three points. Winning at the Bernabeu?

We're having a hard time scoring goals, but we’re creating many chances and that’s the important thing.

“There’s a lot of the season left and we’ll certainly improve as the season progresses.

“Ronaldo’s drought? He hasn’t scored in the League, but he has in the Champions League and the important thing now is the three points.”
