Eibar midfielder Ivan Alejo has been ruled out for between six and eight weeks with a knee injury, the club have confirmed.
The 22-year-old suffered the injury in Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Sevilla but despite fears, the player does not need any surgery.
The midfielder, signed from Alcorcon this summer, was stretchered off in the 40th minute of the clash at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.
Alejo, who previously played in the youth sides at Atletico Madrid and Villarreal, was making his first start for the Basque club.
