Real Madrid have rejected a loan approach from Valencia for midfielder Marcos Llorente, according to reports in Spain.
Plaza Deportiva state Los Che approached Madrid regarding the 22-year-old’s availability but were told he had a role in the first-team squad at the Bernabeu this season.
The question is said to have come up in Los Blancos attempts to sign Valencia striker Rafa Mir for their Castilla side.
Llorente, who helped Spain reach the Under-21 European Championships final this summer, excelled during a loan spell at Alaves last season, playing 38 matches in total.
