Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico has signed a two-year contract extension to his contract which sees him commit to Los Rojiblancos until June 2021.
The Spain international, who turns 24 next month, will also see his €30m release clause at the Andalucians ‘significantly increase’, according to Marca.
Earlier this summer, ABC de Sevilla reported the club had rejected a €12m offer from Liverpool for the goalkeeper who has spent his entire career at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.
Rico has made 69 La Liga appearances for Sevilla across the past two seasons.
