Fiorentina are in pole position to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez to move ahead of Las Palmas in the race for his signature, according to reports.
The 24-year-old joined PSG in a €25m deal from Real Madrid last summer but did not settle in the French capital and he completed a loan move to hometown club Las Palmas in January.
Marca follows up on a report in L’Equipe which states another loan move for the forward looks likely and the Viola are now in main contention for his signature.
Neither the Serie A club or Los Amarillos are able to fully fund Jese’s wage and will require PSG to agree to continuing to pay a portion of them.
