Agent: Bacca intent on Sevilla

The agent of Carlos Bacca has once again confirmed the striker’s enthusiasm to return to Sevilla and believes a summer move is possible.

Sergio Barila previously confirmed to Diario AS that the Colombia international wishes to return to Los Rojiblancos, whom he left two years ago, but recent reports suggest the club do not have the funds Milan are demanding.

"He knows the club and the Spanish league, and he performed well and was successful there,” Barila told Caracol Radio in Colombia.

"If he were to leave and Sevilla were to give him a good opportunity, everybody would view it favourably. It's the World Cup year and he wants to be in top form for when Russia comes around.

"Carlos is a player who has a great CV in Europe, for the work he has done, for the goals he has scored, and in the national team.

"We're going to find the best possible solution for the player, which is the most important thing, and also for the club."

Bacca, who turns 31 next month, scored 49 goals in 108 appearances for Sevilla in his first spell between 2013 and 2015, winning back-to-back Europa Leagues.
