Guidetti on Torino's radar?

Torino have made an approach to Vigo regarding the availability of Swedish international striker John Guidetti, say reports.

Claims in both Tuttosport and calciomercato.it suggest the Turin-based club are interested in signing the former Manchester City striker, who is thought to be available for around €8m.

Last month, reports in Calciomercato.com and Sky Sport Italia suggested Torino’s Serie A rivals Udinese were interested in his signing.

Celta signed the Swede two years ago on a Celta free transfer after he was released by Manchester City having previously enjoyed loan spells at Brommapojkarna, Burnley, Feyenoord, Stoke City and Celtic.

Guidetti netted nine times and assisted seven goals last season in a total of 42 appearances across all competitions for Celta, often playing in support of main striker Iago Aspas.
