Napoli are preparing a €15m offer to Real Sociedad for goalkeeper Gero Rulli but the Basques could hold out for his €40m clause.
Fichajes.net cites Radio Marca as claiming the imminent offer from the Serie A side but with Rulli’s clause set much higher, La Real could demand significantly more.
Representatives of Rulli are to meet with Jokin Aperribay, La Real President, to confirm Napoli’s offer while La Real in January took 70% of Rulli’s contract and are paying that €7m in instalments.
Manchester City, to whom Rulli was previously contracted, also hold a buy-back option for a set fee of €14m and that clause is in effect until the summer of 2018.
