Atletico Madrid’s path to Diego Costa could be helped by Milan, who are reportedly willing to sign the striker on loan until January, say reports.
Diario AS cite reports in La Repubblica which suggest the Rossoneri will pre-agree a loan deal with Atletico - who will sign the Chelsea striker permanently - for the Spain international.
This would be a deal similar to the one Los Rojiblancos constructed for Sevilla winger Vitolo, whom they signed before immediately loaning to Las Palmas until January.
Vincenzo Montella’s side will not be in European competition this season which means Costa would not be ruled out of European competition for Diego Simeone’s in the new year.
The 28-year-old has been excused from the London club’s pre-season training as he looks set for a summer exit and was recently seen partying in his old Atleti shirt.
