Adil Rami has accused former club Sevilla of ‘not showing much class’ following the defender’s €6m move to Marseille.
When the French defender joined the Andalucians in 2015 he reportedly had a clause in his contract that he would personally be entitled to 10% of any future transfer fee.
However, his sale to Marseille was fractured and the 31-year-old eventually waived his right to a €600k fee, but he remained coy on the fine details of the alleged agreement.
"The truth is that Sevilla did not show much class,” Rami told reporters at his introductory press conference with the Ligue 1 club.
"The important thing is that I'm here and I want to think about the present and the future - I knew that Marseille loved me and that helped me to get here.”
