Madrid contact Mbappe again – report

Real Madrid have once again contacted Kylian Mbappe and gave him a clear message of their intent to sign him this summer, say reports in Spain.

According to Marca, the Spanish and European champions held talks with the 18-year-old prodigy’s entourage to discuss a possible deal this summer.

Madrid reportedly made it clear that whilst Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio would all retain prominent roles next season, the Monaco striker would be given opportunities to be heavily involved.

Los Blancos are reportedly keen to speed up sales of Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez to speed up the deal, alongside that for Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos.

Officials at the Bernabeu are aware Paris Saint-Germain also retain a strong interest in the French striker and are wary they could miss out on his signature if they are sluggish in their advances.
