Granada have completed the signing of Real Betis full back Alex Martinez on a two-year deal, it has been confirmed.
The 26-year-old has spent the entirety of his professional career at Los Verdiblancos, along with loan stints at Real Murcia and Elche, and joins El Grana on a free transfer.
Martinez, predominantly deployed as a left-wing back, played in a total of 30 La Liga matches for the Seville-based club.
He is Granada’s third summer arrival following deals for Las Palmas goalkeeper Javi Varas and striker Joselu – the top scorer in last season’s La Liga 123 – from Lugo.
