Real Madrid midfielder Enzo Fernandez, son of Coach Zinedine Zidane, is close to completing a season-long loan move to Deportivo Alaves, say reports in Spain.
According to Marca, the 22-year-old’s move to Estadio Mendizorrotza could be announced this week and will follow on from Madrid’s Marcos Llorente successful loan stint at the Basque club.
Alaves are keen to rebuild their squad after the conclusion of a number of loan deals – including Llorente’s and reportedly Madrid-bound Theo Hernandez – under new Coach Luis Zubeldia.
Enzo made his first-team debut at the Bernabeu last season, replacing Isco in the 13-2 aggregate win over Cultural Leonesa, when he also scored from the edge of the box.
