Ochoa wants La Liga stay

Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa insists he wants to continue playing in La Liga despite interest from both Marseille and Inter.

The 31-year-old is a free agent after his loan spell at Granada ended and his contract with Malaga expired but he will not rush over a future decision.

"We have to wait and see what happens," Ochoa told Radio Marca Claro.

"We have to put the options on the table and evaluate them with calmness.

"I like Spain, and I would like to continue in La Liga.

"What I need to do is do the talking on the pitch and we shall then see if my future is in Spain or elsewhere.

"My attention right now is on the national team and helping Mexico achieve good results. The rest will come later.

"But I'm calm, I don't put pressure on myself. There's a time when you learn to separate things, not to be stressed or in a hurry otherwise you can make bad decisions."

Ochoa won Granada's player of the season last year but could not do enough to prevent their relegation from La Liga.
