Italian giants Inter have made a €23m offer for Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa who is also a target for Real Sociedad, say reports.

According to Marca, the Nerazzurri are keen on a deal for the Argentine international who has netted nine times in 18 La Liga starts since a 2014 move from San Lorenzo.

Despite Atletico’s transfer registration ban being upheld this summer – seeming to scupper potential deals for Diego Costa and Sandro Ramirez, among others – the club are still open to offers for certain players.

Diogo Jota and Luciano Vietto are both returning to Atleti this summer following loan spells away and it is likely that one or both will be included in Simeone's first-team squad, limiting Correa’s playing opportunities further.

Fernando Torres is reportedly now set to sign a one-year contract extension at Los Rojiblancos while Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro are established in Diego Simeone’s side.

La Real are also monitoring Correa’s situation although they are unlikely to be able to match Inter’s transfer valuation.
