Pellegrino to swap Alaves for Sevilla?

Sevilla are considering of replacing the outgoing Jorge Sampaoli with current Alaves Coach Mauricio Pellegrino, say reports in Spain.

According to Marca, the Argentine boss will not discuss his own future until after Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against Barcelona with his contract at the Mendizorroza expiring at the end of June.

The report suggests Los Rojiblancos sporting director Oscar Arias and his team are keen on the idea of appointing Pellegrino who guided the Basque club to a top half finish and the cup final in his first season in charge of the newly-promoted club.

Outgoing Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo is still the favourite to replace Sampaoli at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan but the report acknowledges he has also yet to make a firm decision on his future.
