Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero stated his "soul returned to his body" after John Guidetti missed a late chance to equalise for Celta Vigo.
The Swede fluffed a glorious chance in the dying seconds for the Galicians, ensuring the Red Devils advanced to the Europa League final at the expense of Eduardo Berizzo’s side.
"If I'm honest, I thought Beauvue was going to shoot and that I would dive," Romero told AS.
"But when I saw that he passed the ball, I didn't see that one of their players was there… and as the ball eventually went behind him [Guidetti], my soul returned to my body."
Argentina international Romero is expected to start for Jose Mourinho’s in the decider against Ajax later this month in favour of David De Gea.
