Eibar coach Jose Luis Mendilibar has praised his side’s 4-0 victory over Granada and has challenged his side to keep replicating these victories.
Goals from Adrian Gonzalez, Sergi Enrich, Ivan Ramis and Pedro Leon saw Eibar record their third straight La Liga victory and their second consecutive 4-0 win, over a struggling Granada side.
“We enjoyed a really good game, creating plenty of chances and scoring lots of goals, we fully deserved the win,” explained Mendilibar.
“Ok, Granada did not have their best match but maybe that is because of how we controlled the game and did not give away any opportunities or possession.
“Due to recent seasons we were a little worried about the second half of the season but we’ve won all three games so now we need to push on.
“The team does not want to settle just for good results but now we must upgrade our aims for the season, and a top half finish would be incredible.
“Europe? That will be a big ask but the players aren’t ruling out anything, although it will obviously be a big effort from here on in.”
