Alcaraz calls for Granada fight

Lucas Alcaraz has called on his Granada players to show their ability and start picking up points ahead of their La Liga clash against Las Palmas.

El Grana have won only one league fixture all season and sit bottom of the table, below Osasuna on goal difference although they have played a game less and their boss believes that 34 or 35 points may be enough to survive this campaign.

“The players are committed, due to various circumstances we have underperformed this year,” admitted Alcaraz ahead of the tie.

“We’ve had a lot of change in the past year with players coming and going but I am convinced the players we have now can achieve our objectives.

“In training and matches I see people who are in a position to fight and make themselves tough to beat and make us tough for the opposition but now we need to focus on points.”
