Eibar bows for Zaza & Orellana?

Simone Zaza and Fabian Orellana will reportedly make their home debuts for Valencia on Saturday against Eibar.

Zaza has played just 32 minutes since joining Valencia on January 15, whereas Orellana has only been at the club for a few days.

Nonetheless, AS reports the pair are set for their Mestalla bows this weekend, although only the former is expected to start.

“The coaching staff have made it clear what they’re looking for,” Coach Voro Gonzalez said at a Press conference.

“The transfer window has shut and now we have to focus on ourselves, the priority being [Saturday].

“It’s non-negotiable, that’s the way forward. We must work hard and not leave this path. Now we have a chance to win again at home.

“We must all ensure that Mestalla is a difficult venue for our opponents. Eibar work well as a team and it won’t be easy.

“We’re aware of it. They have a philosophy of playing and working, and it’ll be difficult to hurt them.

“They know their strengths and exploit them to the fullest, so it’ll be a tight match.

“They won’t surprise us, they have 29 points and it’s not by chance. Our objective is to play with intensity and know what we’re doing.

“Zaza starting? He has improved a lot and is a player who kills himself in each training session.

“Physically he needs to be at 100 percent to give his all and he’s very close to it.

“Enzo Perez? He won’t be with us because he’s not been able to recover in time.

“Still, we have players who are competing well and the most important thing is the group. For me, it’s a guarantee. We’ll compete well.

“Orellana? He’s trained well. He comes from a spell of inactivity, but he’ll be in the squad.

“We have several absences in attack and that’s why we’re counting on him.”
